Abingdon Virtual Lunch

Just a few miles south of Oxford is Abingdon which holds claim to ‘the oldest, continuously inhabited town in England’. Our virtual Sterling networking group in Abingdon is a great way to start a conversation and develop long-lasting business relationships to help you grow your business. Referral marketing is a tried and tested way to increase the awareness of your products and services, and Sterling Networks has the perfect mix of a professional yet relaxed fortnightly meeting to aid conversations.

All of our networking groups are led by an experienced networker who leads their team of members and our Abingdon Virtual Lunch Group is no different. Our 100% membership satisfaction stated in a recent survey is testament to our commitment to help members achieve their business goals.

Group Leader

Karen Smith

A warm welcome to Sterling Networks Abingdon Virtual Lunch. I’m proud to be the leader of this group because members have a genuine want to help each other. With many years’ experience in networking within the local area, Sterling brings that perfect mix to each meeting – a professional structure with a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Our members come from a wide variety of disciplines and experiences, so each meeting facilitates conversations and referrals with a one seat policy at Sterling. I work for Cashflow Creators Limited aiding businesses with commercial finance. I just love to help business owners and property developers access funding to enable them to fulfil their goals and financial dreams through access to exclusive commercial and private lenders and funders.

Our structured meetings are scheduled every two weeks and all members are encouraged to carryout 1 to 1’s between group meetings. This is when we really get to know each other, building strong long-lasting business relationships, built on trust. The added advantage is the friendships we build along the way!

I look forward to welcoming you to our next meeting and if you have any questions in the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact us.

FAQ

How many times can I visit?

We encourage you to attend at least twice to make sure that Sterling is right for you. You can visit more than one group following your first visit - all we ask is you call Sterling HQ to check that there is no clash of industry category.

What does single seat category mean?

Single seat category means that we only allow one person from each industry sector in each group. In some groups, professionals from similar industries collaborate and gain mutual benefit.

How much does it cost?

Your initial visit is just £16.66+VAT for our physical meetings and £7.99+VAT for our virtual meetings.

Annual membership is £359.00+VAT and then you will pay a monthly meeting fee of £33.32+VAT for a physical meeting and £12.49+VAT for our virtual groups which is paid by DD to cover the meeting fees.

What if my category is already taken?

There may be other Sterling groups in your area that have your industry category available and do speak to the group leader or Sterling HQ. Often businesses can collaborate even when they may, on first sight, seem to be in the same industry.

Can I join more than one group?

Yes. Many of our members join more than one group. Sometimes a breakfast and lunchtime group in the same area.

Is there an application process?

Yes. Each application is carefully considered by Sterling HQ and our local group leader. We like to make sure there are no competitive clashes and that every member is going fit well with the group.
