Bristol Breakfast - Networking Meeting
The Bristol Breakfast networking group opens up a whole new way to network in a proactive business community. Hosted by Metro Bank, Sterling Networks Bristol Breakfast Group, gives you an ideal way to make local connections by starting a professional conversation. We are focused on ensuring you achieve your networking goals, but our aim is also that our meeting structure always provides you with a relaxed atmosphere, to build long lasting business relationships.
I’m delighted to be appointed the Group Leader for the Sterling Networks Bristol Breakfast Group as this style of networking delivers quality referrals, through a structured meeting, with a stress-free culture.
I have been a committed networker for many years and Sterling Networks allows me to develop a flexible approach to networking with a fortnightly meeting, where the focus is 1 to 1’s between members to establish strategic relationships.
Other networking organisations often tarnish the true business benefits of networking meetings, with strict league tables measuring membership performance, but we take a different approach by building genuine business relationships built on integrity.
As the Managing Director at ‘Finance for Entrepreneurs’, I bring to the group my local knowledge of Bristol but also my commercial acumen to support all our Sterling members. I work with businesses to navigate the commercial finance world and the numerous products and lenders available. Plus, I can offer my services as an outsourced commercial or sales director, to problem solve, create processes and generate new business.
All visitors will be given a warm welcome to the meeting, so that you can see for yourself the power of networking at the Sterling Bristol Breakfast Group.
The Bristol Breakfast Group meetings are currently via Zoom, but future meetings will be held at Metro Bank, 40-46 Broadmead, Bristol BS1 3HB. 7:00am-8:45am.
Meeting begins with a tea, coffee, water or juice and 15 minutes informal networking.
Traditional cooked breakfast, or depending on location a vegetarian option plus pastries or fruit.
This is an opportunity for each member and guest to introduce themselves and their business, defining the kinds of referrals and any particular introductions they currently seek.
Engine Room break
This is the crucial part of our meetings providing a great opportunity to connect and arrange 'one to one' appointments with businesses you would like to know more about. At the same time a chance to refill your drinks.
This is a great platform where members describe their business more fully. Provides an opportunity for the group to understand the nature and direction of your business. Brilliant for new projects and new ideas. Invaluable!
The ‘activity round’ comes next. This is when members and guests are invited to summarise referrals made and received, give thanks to other members and guests, describe any ‘one-to-one’ meetings held outside the breakfast meeting and share any latest news.
Meeting closes, but you’re welcome to stay on for extra networking and discussions.
We encourage you to attend at least twice to make sure that Sterling is right for you. You can visit more than one group following your first visit - all we ask is you call Sterling HQ to check that there is no clash of industry category.
Single seat category means that we only allow one person from each industry sector in each group. In some groups, professionals from similar industries collaborate and gain mutual benefit.
Your initial visit is just £15.60. Annual membership is £359.00 ex VAT and then it's £15.60 per meeting, paid by DD, to cover breakfast or lunch.
There may be other Sterling groups in your area that have your industry category available and do speak to the group leader or Sterling HQ. Often businesses can collaborate even when they may, on first sight, seem to be in the same industry.
Yes. Many of our members join more than one group. Sometimes a breakfast and lunchtime group in the same area.
Yes. Each application is carefully considered by Sterling HQ and our local group leader. We like to make sure there are no competitive clashes and that every member is going fit well with the group.
