Hello, I’m Ian Woodley, and the proud leader of Sterling Cheltenham Lunch. Our diverse group meets every other Wednesday for a relaxed lunch, inspiring conversation, and new opportunities.
As well as group leader I hold the graphic design seat at Cheltenham Lunch, and as an experienced Creative Director I’ve helped my clients over the past 25 years to growth their businesses through effective, creative and thoughtful design. From printed literature to display, motion graphics and interactive digital design – we like to think a little differently about how you can ‘tell your story’ to your customers.
Sterling Networks is a fabulous community of like-minded business professionals, keen to support each other, start conversations and give valuable introductions. Visit us for a warm welcome, and find out how our members can help you grow your business.
Outside work, I enjoy road cycling, tennis and travel.
I look forward to seeing you email@example.com
The Sterling format provides a structured agenda that is facilitated by a group leader who ensures every member gets great value from the meeting. The Cheltenham Lunch agenda includes a buffet lunch , an opportunity to introduce your business, an open networking break where we encourage 1-2-1 meetings to be arranged and a member showcase.
Meeting begins with a tea, coffee, water or juice and 15 minutes’ informal networking.
Lunch: Traditional cooked lunch, or depending on location, a vegetarian option and buffet
60-second round. This is an opportunity for each member and guest to introduce themselves and their business, defining the kinds of referrals and any particular introductions they currently seek.
Engine Room break. This is the crucial part of our meetings and a great opportunity to connect and arrange your 'one to one' appointments with businesses you would like to know more about. At the same time a chance to refill your drinks.
Member presentation: A great platform, where members describe their business more fully. Privides an opportunity for the group to understand the nature and direction of your business. Brilliant for new projects and new ideas. Invaluable!
The ‘activity round’ comes next. Members and guests are invited to summarise referrals made and received, give thanks to other members and guests, describe any ‘one-to-one’ meetings held outside the breakfast meeting and share any latest news.
Meeting closes, but you’re welcome to stay on for extra networking and discussions.
