MEET GROUP LEADER: fran coulter

Hello, I'm Fran and I am the group leader for Swindon breakfast and would love to see you at our Swindon meeting! this is wonderful business enviroment for our breakfast meeting hosted at Metro Bank. Our aim is to ensure that both members and visitors get as much as possible out of our breakfast meetings, by making new contacts and generating referrals.

As well as group leader, I hold the financial adviser seat and run FRC Financial Planning, offering advice to help people on the journey to achieving their financial goals. I have a holistic approach and cover all areas of the financial world including pensions, investments, protection, mortgages and insurance. I have been in the industry for five years, having worked previously at St. James’s Place head office in Cirencester, before starting my own business advising my clients across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the South West...

"We have a great group in Swindon, covering a wide range of different business areas, with everyone so supportive in helping to grow each other’s businesses.  If you would like to find out more, pop me an email or even better, come along and visit us for breakfast!" - Fran

A FORMAT THAT WORKS

The Sterling format provides a structured agenda that is facilitated by a group leader who ensures every member gets great value from the meeting. The Swindon agenda includes a breakfast with coffee or tea, an opportunity to introduce your business, an open networking break and a member showcase.

7:15am

Meeting begins with a tea, coffee, water or juice and 15 minutes’ informal networking.

7:30am

Breakfast: Traditional cooked breakfast, or depending on location a vegetarian option plus pastries or fruit.

7:45am

60-second round. This is an opportunity for each member and guest to introduce themselves and their business, defining the kinds of referrals and any particular introductions they currently seek.

7:55am

Engine Room break. This is the crucial part of our meetings providing a great opportunity to connect and arrange 'one to one' appointments with businesses you would like to know more about. At the same time a chance to refill your drinks.

8:10am

Member presentation:  This is a great platform where members describe their business more fully. Provides an opportunity for the group to understand the nature and direction of your business. Brilliant for new projects and new ideas. Invaluable!

8:25am

The ‘activity round’ comes next. This is when members and guests are invited to summarise referrals made and received, give thanks to other members and guests, describe any ‘one-to-one’ meetings held outside the breakfast meeting and share any latest news.

8:45am

Meeting closes, but you’re welcome to stay on for extra networking and discussions..
