Reading Breakfast - Business Network Meeting
Reading Breakfast networking group offers businesses the perfect platform to start conversations, make connections and expand your network of contacts in the local area. With a structured meeting every two weeks, the Reading Breakfast Group can help you to build long-lasting professional relationships to support the growth of your business. Like any referral marketing networking, the aim is to pass leads that then result in sales, but the Sterling culture ensures that it’s more than just a monetary gain at the Reading Breakfast Group. The energy, knowledge and experience in the group will inspire you to a whole new level!
It’s my privilege to give you a warm welcome to Sterling’s Reading Breakfast Group. I’ve been networking for many years in the Reading area and the diverse mix of members in the group gives me a buzz every time we meet. There’s a genuine want to help each other and although there’s a professional structure to every meeting, there’s definitely that fun and friendly atmosphere, as we engage as a team.
As the owner of Bravapro Ltd and the virtual business manager of the group, I understand first-hand the importance of teamwork, which is critical to any business. Offering support to many businesses with regards to project management and administrative services, I lead the Reading Breakfast Group with an open and honest culture, built on integrity.
We have a one seat policy at Sterling which really helps nurture our business relationships. Our 1 to 1’s between members outside the meeting, cement our collaborations, giving an in-depth knowledge of each other’s businesses. The cherry on top of the cake is that the referrals passed between each other results in an impressive revenue generated.
Whether you’ve been networking for many year’s or you’ve just setup a new business with no networking experience, the Reading Breakfast Group would be delighted to welcome you as a visitor to our next meeting. So, what are you waiting for… book your visit today!
The Reading Breakfast Group meet fortnightly via Zoom (for now) and will meet face to face @ Metro Bank, Broad Street Mall, 201 Broad Street, Reading, RG1 7QA on a Wednesday from 7:00am to 8.45am.

Meeting begins with a tea, coffee, water or juice and 15 minutes informal networking.
Traditional cooked breakfast, or depending on location a vegetarian option plus pastries or fruit.
This is an opportunity for each member and guest to introduce themselves and their business, defining the kinds of referrals and any particular introductions they currently seek.
Engine Room break
This is the crucial part of our meetings providing a great opportunity to connect and arrange 'one to one' appointments with businesses you would like to know more about. At the same time a chance to refill your drinks.
This is a great platform where members describe their business more fully. Provides an opportunity for the group to understand the nature and direction of your business. Brilliant for new projects and new ideas. Invaluable!
The ‘activity round’ comes next. This is when members and guests are invited to summarise referrals made and received, give thanks to other members and guests, describe any ‘one-to-one’ meetings held outside the breakfast meeting and share any latest news.
Meeting closes, but you’re welcome to stay on for extra networking and discussions.
We encourage you to attend at least twice to make sure that Sterling is right for you. You can visit more than one group following your first visit - all we ask is you call Sterling HQ to check that there is no clash of industry category.
Single seat category means that we only allow one person from each industry sector in each group. In some groups, professionals from similar industries collaborate and gain mutual benefit.
Your initial visit is just £15.60. Annual membership is £329.00 ex VAT and then it's £15.60 per meeting, paid by DD, to cover breakfast or lunch.
There may be other Sterling groups in your area that have your industry category available and do speak to the group leader or Sterling HQ. Often businesses can collaborate even when they may, on first sight, seem to be in the same industry.
Yes. Many of our members join more than one group. Sometimes a breakfast and lunchtime group in the same area.
Yes. Each application is carefully considered by Sterling HQ and our local group leader. We like to make sure there are no competitive clashes and that every member is going fit well with the group.
