I am absolutely delighted to be the Group Leader for the Swindon Breakfast Group. I have always been a keen networker and have an extensive network of connections in the local area. The positive energy in the room at our Swindon Breakfast Group meeting is second to none and there’s a shared passion for helping each other with our businesses.
We have a one seat policy at Sterling Networks and this ensures that referrals and recommendations flow with ease between members within the group.
Where Sterling Networks members really get to know each other and form deep rooted friendships is in our 1 to 1’s outside the structured meeting. The well known saying ‘people buy from people’ reflects our networking group perfectly. If you would like to see for yourself how Sterling Networks can make a positive impact on your business, why not come along as a visitor? I’ll be waiting to give you a warm welcome and introduce you to the team.
The Swindon Breakfast Group meet fortnightly at Metro Bank 1-4 Regent Street, Swindon, SN1 1JQ. Every other Friday from 7:45am to 9.30am. Car parking is available at Whalebridge Multi Storey Car Park
Meeting begins with a tea, coffee, water or juice and 15 minutes informal networking.
Traditional cooked breakfast, or depending on location a vegetarian option plus pastries or fruit.
This is an opportunity for each member and guest to introduce themselves and their business, defining the kinds of referrals and any particular introductions they currently seek.
Engine Room break
This is the crucial part of our meetings providing a great opportunity to connect and arrange 'one to one' appointments with businesses you would like to know more about. At the same time a chance to refill your drinks.
This is a great platform where members describe their business more fully. Provides an opportunity for the group to understand the nature and direction of your business. Brilliant for new projects and new ideas. Invaluable!
The ‘activity round’ comes next. This is when members and guests are invited to summarise referrals made and received, give thanks to other members and guests, describe any ‘one-to-one’ meetings held outside the breakfast meeting and share any latest news.
Meeting closes, but you’re welcome to stay on for extra networking and discussions.
