Our Sterling Groups would not be as powerful and efficient as they are without our amazing Group Leaders.
Each group leader is carefully chosen to ensure they bring the essence of Sterling to our meetings.  
Group Leaders are members of Sterling and are there to run the meeting to our agenda and ensure that our members are supported and create value from being a Sterling members.

Introducing Sarah Cooper as our Group Leader and host of our Solihull Breakfast meeting.  Sarah runs Fluid HR where she believes that HR exists to work for your business, not to hold it back. They make managing people simple, stress-free, and focused on you—so you can focus on growing your business, not getting bogged down in bureaucracy. Sarah is a very experienced networker and group leader and loves connecting members and running a positive and energetic meeting.

 The engine room of our meeting is the most important part of our agenda and our Group Leaders ensure that members are connecting and have everything they need to ensure that they are able to start a conversations together to deepen and enhance the relationships with all members in the room.

Group Leaders are supported by the team at Sterling HQ to invite visitors to the room and we aim to run amazing and efficient meetings for everyone in the room.

The Solihull Breakfast meets fortnightly on Wednesday at Village Hotel, The Green Business Park, Dog Kennel Lane, Solihull Birmingham, B90 4JG. 

There is parking on site.

This is an opportunity for each member and guest to introduce themselves and their business, defining the kinds of referrals and any particular introductions they currently seek.

The ‘activity round’ comes next. This is when members and guests are invited to summarise referrals made and received, give thanks to other members and guests, describe any ‘one-to-one’ meetings held outside the breakfast meeting and share any latest news.

Frequently Asked Questions

We encourage you to attend at least twice to make sure that Sterling is right for you. You can visit more than one group following your first visit - all we ask is you call Sterling HQ to check that there is no clash of industry category.
Single seat category means that we only allow one person from each industry sector in each group. In some groups, professionals from similar industries collaborate and gain mutual benefit.

Your initial visit is just £19.99+vat for our physical meetings and £7.99+VAT for our virtual meetings.

Annual membership is £399.00+VAT or £299+vat for a Virtual Group.  You will pay a monthly meeting fee of £39.98+vat for a physical meeting and £15.98+vat for our virtual groups which is paid by DD and collected each month by GoCardless to cover the meeting fees.

There may be other Sterling groups in your area that have your industry category available and do speak to the group leader or Sterling HQ. Often businesses can collaborate even when they may, on first sight, seem to be in the same industry.
Yes. Many of our members join more than one group. Sometimes a breakfast and lunchtime group in the same area.
Yes. Each application is carefully considered by Sterling HQ and our local group leader. We like to make sure there are no competitive clashes and that every member is going fit well with the group.
