Group Leader: Karen Lees-Nicholson

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our breakfast business networking group held at Courtyard by Marriott Oxford South every other Tuesday and covering South Oxfordshire.

I am Karen Lees-Nicholson, and as the group leader I would like to welcome you to our meeting. I hold the financial adviser seat in the group and have met rigorous criteria relating to professional qualifications and ethical good practice so my clients can be confident they are dealing with someone, who always puts their needs first.

Having a career that has spanned 30 + years in financial services, I have found that being visible and engaging in conversations is key to opening opportunities … my mantra is ‘activity creates business!’ Networking allows you to do this with likeminded people, expanding your contacts and opening new doors. It’s all about building out your network through qualified referrals.

The atmosphere at our meetings is friendly yet professional, meaning members are more relaxed to start those crucial conversations. However, we get to know each other’s businesses on a deeper level outside the group meetings via 1 to 1s. It’s always fascinating how members have chosen and crafted their businesses and who they know. From this genuine desire to find out more and helping each other, long lasting working relationships flourish between our members.

We are a one seat per profession group, so you know that when you promote your business and ideas your voice represents the opportunities in that field, not only to those in the room but to their wider contacts too.

I would love you to come and experience a fresh new of networking and growing your business.  You’ll get a very warm welcome as a visitor to Vale of White Horse Breakfast Group.

“I look forward to welcoming you to our great group!”
